Welcome to REVI.net, the online collaboration of six New England-based electric utilities that formed the Regional Electric Vehicle Initiative. REVI works to advance the region’s understanding of plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) and the charging infrastructure that supports them.
Electricity is a cleaner, lower cost, locally available transportation fuel alternative. EVs drivers can recharge conveniently at home overnight (during off-peak hours when system use is lower and the generation mix cleaner). Away-from-home charging is expected to expand as businesses, workplaces and municipal locations become part of a public charging network.
